Dear Colleagues and Friends,

ESHNR and the British organising committee are delighted to welcome you to Glasgow in Scotland, the home of the ESHNR 2025 annual meeting.

Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city, and has a long history of trade and innovation. Made a royal ‘burgh’ or city in 1451, it prospered greatly from trade and industry into the 18th and 19th centuries – the ship building capital of the United Kingdom and one of the largest international trading ports, many fortunes were made, and the architecture of the city centre reflects this. After the decline of heavy industry Glasgow has undergone a transformation with new museums and waterfront developments.

An exciting scientific program will cover the major topics in head and neck radiology including sinonasal and salivary imaging, the skull base and temporal bone, and upper aerodigestive tract pathology. There will be a special focus on modern imaging techniques and interventions including the latest developments in intervention and treatment, along with a focus on imaging optimisation and technical developments in all imaging modalities.

We are very pleased to welcome our American colleagues to Glasgow, with dedicated ASHNR sessions, and for the first time a dedicated session with the Indian Society of Head and Neck Radiology will bring another global perspective to our practice.

As always there will be sessions for scientific presentations, and opportunities for submission of educational exhibits.

We very much acknowledge the reliance we place on our colleagues in the healthcare industry to provide us with the tools and support we need for the best patient care, and there will be a closely integrated sponsors area with the latest technologies showcased.

A fun social program, an opportunity to meet old friends, and forge new professional and personal connections will include a welcome reception with drinks and a gala dinner. Glasgow is also a gateway to all the scenery and history Scotland has to offer, with Loch Lomond only 30 minutes away and good air and rail connections to Edinburgh and the rest of the UK.  We hope you find time to explore.

We look forward to welcoming you to Glasgow in 2025!

Best wishes,
David Summers
